Web4effect does collect information from our clients with regards to Projects and billing. This information may be shared with a 3rd party company for the same purpose.
Your information regarding this will be stored on a separate billing server and is not given or sold to any lists.

- We will be able to contact you with regards to updates to servers or software for sites we are hosting
Project Data Files
Customer Data files we receive from our clients often contain information
that should be secure. For this reason, we recommend files be transfered to
us in a compressed format with a password or through standard US Mail Insured.
Data we recieve in this format will be put on our servers protected by a firewall
from the internet. The data will be stored for no more than 5 days after any
modifications have been made to it. If you would like to have data returned
to you Pre and Post any data transformation, please send the data on a disk through
US Mail Certified. We will return the original data and any new data on the
same disk where possible or the modified data on an additional disk when needed.
We will need to know that you wish this information returned within
five(5) days of a projects end date. We will not keep sensative data on our
machines for your protection. If we obtain and hold data for the purpose of
exposing it to the web on your behalf, if the data is sensative in nature, it will
be encrypted and proper security applied through the server and any role based security
where it applies.
Email
Email is our primary form of communication. We use your email information for billing and server notifications if we are hosting your site.
We have newsletters that you may sign up for which often reflect our “Best Practices”, Press releases, or information regarding new technologies we offer.
This is an opt in format on the website and you may opt out at any time.
